So yes I flew via Jetstar and I didn't feel that it was a pretty good experience (though I travelled on it before) because they actually ran out of immigration cards to give the passengers?! Like excuse me, that's basic stuff. So in the end, we have to search for the cards at the airport and wasted time trying to fill everything in when we would have filled in everything during the flight. And when we flew back to Singapore, this air steward was so rude and this air stewardess basically didn't have a smile at all, talk about customer service man. It was bad. Ok anyway yes back to the point, had a flight at 10.40am so we all woke up early.
With da sista
Cousins :)
We stayed at Centre Point Pratunam (previously known as Centrepoint Petchburi 15) during the trip and I honestly enjoyed every single bit of it. The room was spacious (there's even cooking area+balcony) and it was so near to places that we wanna go! The breakfast may not be as good as the reviews written on the web but I would say it's decent. Plus point is, the staff are all very friendly and helpful! There are a few massage places just right outside the hotel! Definitely will consider this hotel again. If not, Grand Diamond is a great hotel as well. And Glow Hotel seem to be of a good location as well!
Now now now, for the places that I went:
1) Famous Wanton Mee Stall!

Ok actually not a must go. But if you're at Pratunam area, then why not? The wanton mee is not bad (but oily I would say) They are famous for their pork trotters are as well! This stall is very Platinum Fashion Mall! Just locate the overhead bridge and cross over from Platinum mall and then locate Soi 19. Walk down that lane for like 1-2 mins and you will see this stall. It's filled with Singaporeans I swear hahahaha.
The portion of their Wanton Mee is damn small so order 2 if you need hahaha. It's just 50 baht per bowl so ya luh, don't expect a big bowl hahaha. No pictures of the pork trotters but there's no bones at all cause they have chopped everything nicely for you. Worth a try I think. The portion is pretty big for that.
2) Crepe stall near wanton mee stall

This is super near the overhead bridge, right before you turn into Soi 19! I ordered the nutella banana one and it's really good and big :) Just for 60 baht! So do try it but be prepared to queue cause I walked past a few times and it's forever crowded. No queueing system, just squeeze in and order hahaha.
3) Siam Night Market
It's just located just right opposite Siam Paragon. Just alight from Siam BTS and it will be easily located. Or else it's accessible from Central World Plaza as well haha. I didn't buy alot of things there (which I regret cause there are things that I wanted to buy but didnt) but their things are pretty unique! There's this stall that sells vintage watches for like 100 baht! My cousin bought a dress at 99 baht ?! Crazy or super crazy. Their stuff basically range from 100-250 baht? Quite a normal price range and honestly, I don't see their things at Platinum/Chatuchak so I would say check it out if you're there! It's near MBK as well!
4) Bar-B-Q/Joom Zap Hut

This is located at Central World Atrium A Level 6! We went for the Bar-B-Q cause I wanna eat like mookata style kinda of food. Joom Zap Hut is more of steamboat style of food hahaha.
I won't say it's fantastic but it's cheapppp. Like it cost only about $7 for each person? Freaking cheap right!! And and and, the sauce is damn awesome!!! The sauce just makes everything taste so good hehe. Hmm would love to have a piece of pork with the sauce right now :)
5) Naraya
Like erm, who doesn't know Naraya in Bangkok? Hahahah basically all the ladies went crazy in there. I'm not kidding, but I basically have to squeeze through the crowd to see the stuff but it's.so.cheap. The things are super cute as well. Their tissue holder cost like 25 baht, cosmetic bag with mirror for like 90 baht?! Damn damn cheap. Just go in there and buy everything back luh hahaha.
6) Pratunam morning market
This market is located near my hotel and I saw reviews that alot of things there are found at Platinum mall but at a cheaper price!! So we woke up super early to head to the market but I was disappointed :( Yes, there's a crowd but the things there aren't nice at all. But it's definitely cheaper than Platinum/Chatuchak. I got a skirt for like 50 baht hahahaha crazy price. But I won't say it's worth waking up to brave through the crowd for it.
7) Platinum Fashion Mall
Who goes to Bangkok without heading to this mall?! It's sooooo big that I don't think you can finish walking unless you spend like 1 whole day there. The things there are not too bad, like I bought quite a few things there but you gotta comb the right places haha. I would say skip Zone 3 if you don't have the time because Zone 1&2 has a lot nicer clothings haha. Go to the Food Court at level 6 for cheap food or else to Fuji Restaurant which sells affordable and good Japanese food!
8) Chatuchak Weekend Market
My favouritest shopping place out of all. It's hot yes but really, not as humid as what everyone describes cause there's alot of sheltered area. I will suggest going to Section 4 straight because the things there are the nicesttttt compared to like other section. Plus, it's near the coconut ice cream stall!!!!
Legendary coconut ice creammmm. It's sooooooo yummy under that weather and it's only for 35-40 baht if I didn't remember wrongly. And they give out free coconut juices as well!! So yes don't be mistaken that they're giving out plain water when they offer you one!
9) Union Mall
It's located one MRT (not BTS) stop away from Chatuchak. Super convenient! I didn't exactly shop there because I rather the cheap prices at Chatuchak so I basically went there for lunch and this super cool ice cream! Lunch was at MK restaurant at F1, a steamboat style restaurant. I recommend their roast duck cause it's really good! :) And then I went to try this Ice Manias at Union Mall! The process of making is super cool!! It looks like swiss rolls hahaha.
Just choose an ice cream flavour with any 2 toppings+1 sauce!I didn't video down the process but it's pretty cool! It's located at F3 so do check it out if you like! ps, do not try the green tea ice cream cause it sucks hahahaha.
10) T&K Restaurant @ Chinatown
It's highly recommended on the web/by friends but meh, I was disappointed. The food wasn't really that good and it's not say very cheap as well. Probably can find better restaurants at Chinatown. The staff are all wear green if you're looking for them!
So, this kinda sums up my Bangkok trip! Oh ya I went to have some A&W as well! Yums, rootbeer float+curly fries!!! I officially declare that I suck at bargaining because I tried so many times but I failed :( Be sure to go with friends who can bargain well hahaha! And I realised that it's easier to bargain with men than women so...yup little tip from me! My total damage is only about 13 tops, 7 bottoms, 3 guys's tee, 1 loafers, 1 boots, 2 vintage watches and 1 iPhone cover+ 4 Naraya stuff hahaha. Very little right?! Well, we should all spend rationally hahaha.
Hokkaido in less than a month whee~ no shopping there for me but I do hope the sceneries will make up for it :)
xx
Recent pictures with E when we were out to watch Man of Steel/just a chill day with him. Hope that entertained you hahaha.
Work tomorrow but I'm still feeling tired. Praying hard I will work more at JP for July! :) The Singapore's weather needs to chill pill man, it's hot 24/7 and my aircon just doesn't seem to work well anymore under this sort of weather. Seriously, how to survive?!
xoxo
