Applause

Met up with Olivia for the last time yesterday before she returns back to Canada (she's not visiting next year so the next time I'll see her will be 2 years later) She has always been such amazing person. So cheerful with her artsy humour and all. Really gonna miss this girl :(

I Love New York - it was pretty ok but so not worth the price -_-''. this cost $28.20 after GST and all, like erm the portion wise isn't even there to cost near $30.
English - choose this anytime over the one above cause they cost the same!!! Ok I sound damn aunty hahaha but honestly English is still one of the best I've tried at Wild Honey.
See you in two years' time Oli :) It's so scary knowing in 2 year's time I'll have probably graduated/working. Ah, time is flying so quickly.

xx

In case you miss E and my face (cause honestly we aren't those couple that take pictures everytime we are out hahaha), here's some for you haha.

My favourite picture of the day :')

Tutorial starts tomorrow and I must say well, I'm not anticipating it. Class part is really not something I'm strong at (nor exams or projects). Ok basically I suck at everything so ya I know I have to buck up no matter what to graduate with a decent CAP. It doesn't help that I've Deans Listers' friends around me and looking at them sometimes just reminds me of how stupid I am. I mean I can't help it but I know there's no point comparing. I'm never those that ace my exams since young so really, I can't compare with anyone but myself. I know I can do better than what I'm achieving and all I can do is to just continue having faith in myself. My really sweet friend Siya whatsapp me yesterday and she shared a verse with me:
"34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough troubles of its own."
And yes she is right. I shouldn't worry too much but just let nature take it's course. I will never become a Dean listers or anything near that but all I can do is to be true to myself and make sure I've done my part well. Tomorrow marks the day where I will (and must) finally throw away all my holiday mood behind me (haha) and get down to studying. I know many has already started but I'll start doing my tutorial diligently and focus during lecture as much as I can. I'm gonna try to participate as much as I can this semester and not let what JA said come true. I will not "be dead". I will speak regardless of how stupid some answers may be. Siya is right, no answer can be too stupid. But honestly, calculating my CAP everytime can be so depressing because it seems that I can never reach my target CAP sigh. Ok yes, I'm depressed all over again.

Roar

Second week into school and oh god, almost forgot how I hated school honestly. My timetable this sem is like the worst ever - 5 day week wtf. Timing wise are all pretty screwed up as well. Not to mention the mods I'm taking are pretty stressful cause the class participation percentage is bloody high. Why can't they just let me learn with ease, honestly I hate all the high percentage stressing people (like me) to talk because I don't want to end up with a C grade just because I don't feel like talking in class. I'm SO dreading next week already oh god. This sem, please fly past kthx.

Counting Stars

Less than a week to the start of school. This feeling is pretty annoying but alas, I got all my mods successfully once again this sem. I should be thankful how successful my bidding process always goes. But I just spent a record amount of points on just 2 mods this sem, I'm a little annoyed by that fact but argh at least I don't have to trouble myself over replanning my whole timetable once again.

Tried Tim Ho Wan the other day with my sista because I told myself I just have to try this 1-star Michelin Restaurant. Went at about 240pm on a weekday afternoon but yet there's still a queue. Took us about 20-30 mins before we got a seat. Food was served really fast (not kidding about this) but the food, I was honestly disappointed :(

BBQ Pork bun - the dish that everyone was raving about. It's nice but I don't feel that it's fantastic nor is there anything special. It's very similar to Canton Paradise's in my opinion.
This isn't raved by anyone but I find this dish pretty good actually. It's steamed roll with pork+shrimp (I think)
Probably my favourite dish because I can taste the carrot bits. It's pretty delightful though alittle too soft.
Spring roll with egg white- do not understand the raves behind this dish. It's tasteless and I don't find it nice at all, or maybe just the skin cause it's was really crispy.
Worst dish out of the lot. Don't even know why did anyone recommend this at all. Sigh.

My experience was pretty blah. I guess I expected way more from Tim Ho Wan but in the end the food isn't even really good plus the choices are super limited. My favourite dim sum place will probably still be Canton Paradise :)

Jollibee+Shopping+Starbucks session with Elouis.
Jollibee is probably the most famous fast food stall in Philippines. Their set doesn't come with fries (it was an add on) but instead, it comes with a rice(with whipped potato's gravy-alike sauce) The chicken was pretty big and decent and the meat itself was tenderrrr. It's not fantastic like how philippinos will make it sound as (like my managersss) but I think it's decent and worth a try!
Let's work hard (again) for the upcoming semester! Yay finally taking mod together with this girl so now we can catch up every week ;)

Koh Grill & Sushi Bar+ Coffee Club with my bestest uni friends :)

They both had Tokyo Ramen which was not good at all (in their opinions). I guess we should all go for other food when we go Koh Grill!
My Yaki Udon which I waited an hour for -_-'' Koh Grill is super packed during dinner time so please make reservation before heading down!
Legendary Shiok Maki which of course deserve a single-picture-shot.
So glad we are still going strong after one year despite us all having different majors and it's all different this sem now because that bitch is now a double major in geog+nm, I switched to major in nm to try out new things (hopefully it will give me better results haha) and singrui of course still a nm major. So I've 2 same modules with 2 of them this sem which I think it's gonna be fun ;)

Recently, I've been doubting myself all the time. There are times where I feel like there's no point but other times I will think that I should just hang in there. I'm not even sure what I'm feeling right now because I don't feel any closer to you than before but I feel further from you. I don't feel like I'm any part of your life because you're so freaking busy now I don't know whether I'll ever be your priority again. You will try to update me as and when but you know it's different. I really don't care who your many new friends are, neither have I forgive you for being so selfish (but yes you don't think you are) Is this call different views or is this call challenge? I need a bigger heart to continue this journey or else my heart will be dead one fine day and I'll call it the end. Can I turn back time please? There are many things I wish I had said and actions which I wish I had not done. This is life.

Slow down

Oh yes, it's August (again) Seriously, why is time flying jetting by so fast?? :( My 3 months holiday is coming to an end WHYYYY. I must say I've been making full use of my holiday well and I'm really glad. Last year this time I was just heading to NUS for a brand new school life and right now, I'm heading back as an year 2. Oh wow, 1/3 of my uni life completed, another 2/3 to go!!! I really hope this semester will be good to me because I really need it to pull up my CAP :'( And this semester has another new challenge for me to go through and I'm really hope I'll survive and not break down every single time. Go Chermaine, I know you can (I think).

Olivia's birthday celebration- Hawaiian theme.

Yesterday was my last day of work because oh well I can't possibly hit the number of hours required when I'm schooling! But I'm really glad I chose to work here because it gave me the experience I've never ever imagine myself getting! I've made friends, be a waitress (it's tough okkkk especially on crazy weekends), learn how to pipe and re fudge cakes, use the cashier (!!!! my childhood dream HAHAHA), be smiley all the time and of course, know about all the products and dealt with different kinds of customers. It was really a wonderful experience for me. I will be back if I can because it's really fun working (in JP)

Will miss this girl the most :')
Bye AC :')
